Top local chefs compete for cock of the walk in a weekend long capon cookoff. Helping the folks at Silverbrook Farm thin their rooster population, chef Will Gilson of Garden at the Cellar and his friends at Sel de la Terre (Boylston Street and Long Wharf locations) Toro, Sage, Green Street and Craigie on Main (among others) will be adding a rooster dish to the menu for the weekend – from Friday, December 19th through Sunday, December 21st. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get to as many of the restaurants and see whose preparation appeals to you the most.
