The holiday spirit is alive and well at The Seaport Hotel. The 2015 Christmas in the City Celebrity Holiday Tree Auction takes place on Thursday, December 3rd, raising funds for local non-profit Christmas in the City. From 6:00-8:00pm, guests can gather and place their bids on the trees, decorated by the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins with special team items attached. There’ll be bites from the Hotel and a cash bar, as well as a raffle with prizes like the chance to be Phantom Gourmet’s ‘Diner for a Day.’ Christmas in the City founders Jake and Sparky Kennedy will be on the guest list, along with Santa Claus himself. Tickets are $20 each and 100 percent of proceeds goes towards Christmas in the City’s holiday efforts against homelessness. Guests are also asked to bring a gift for the volunteer-based toy drive.
