Benefit the Farm in the Harbor

Enjoy a friendly dinner down on the farm, when Long Island Shelter hosts its annual fall harvest dinner on Thursday, September 27th. The farm on the Boston Harbor island will provide the setting for the for-a-good-cause four-course dinner prepared by chefs Matthew Audette, David Becker, Joanne Chang and Chris Douglass. The evening starts with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:00pm before moving on to the intimate, wine-paired dinner. Tickets cost $250 per person (or $2000 for a table of six) and proceeds will go directly to The Farm, which grows its own organic produce for use in the shelter’s kitchen, and the Serving Ourselves Program, which provides job training for homeless individuals. Reserve your seat by visiting the Friends of Boston’s Homeless website.
