The Penedès region of Spain is known is a coastal paradise known for seafood and sparkling wine, and on Thursday, March 28th, you can visit courtesy of Island Creek Oyster Bar Burlington. Inspired by their wine director Laura Staley’s recent visit to one of the area’s wineries, Parés Baltà, the team has put together an evening celebrating the food, drink, and spirit of the region. Chef Matt Celeste will be dishing up a five-course menu riffing on Catalonian cuisine via New England seafood, and the winemaker and co-owner of Parés Baltà will be on hand pouring eight of their wines for you to try.
