A Jewish Oktoberfest for a Cause

Lehrhaus

Lehrhaus is re-imagining their Oktoberfest festivities to provide a symbol of hope for what the world can become and to remember German-Jewish life. The Jewish tavern will be hosting a subdued version of their original plan, and invites everyone to come by, learn something about German Jewry, enjoy soft pretzels and be a part of the community. There’ll be a special menu featuring Bavarian favorites and different classes sponsored by Boston’s German Consulate General. All proceeds from their Zoigl Star beer will be donated to those impacted in Israel, so you can seek comfort in community while donating to a good cause as you raise a glass to a brighter future (read Lehrhaus co-founder and director Rabbi Charlie Schwartz’s thoughts).
