A Culinary Tour of East Somerville

East Somerville Main Streets

Eat your heart out while supporting a great cause at Somerville’s 12th annual Foodie Crawl on Tuesday, September 19th from 6:00-8:30pm. More than a dozen restaurants are participating and each one will provide a sample of their specialty cuisine, so you can try a diverse range of food from around the globe, including Brazilian, French, Italian, Mexican, Salvadoran and more.

The crawl will take place in East Somerville on Broadway, so you can sample whatever you like along the way. There’s a few newcomers to the crawl this year like Michette and Sister’s Caribbean along with neighborhood faves like La Brasa, Mount Vernon, Vinny’s, Taco Loco, Ola Cafe and Rincon Mexicano. Tickets start at $10 for children, $20 for students and $25 for adults, and all the proceeds go to East Somerville’s Main Streets — a nonprofit committed to building a safe, sustainable and prosperous multicultural community by developing a thriving business district at the heart of East Somerville.

All tickets must be bought before the event (there’ll be no day-of ticket sales), so make sure to scoop yours up. If it rains, the event will be rescheduled for Wednesday, September 20th and all tickets will rollover. For more information, check out East Somerville’s Main Steet’s website and follow them on Instagram to keep up with all the work they do.
