Shirley Kiu

Shirley Kiu is the exceptionally talented Chef de Cuisine at the Liberty Hotel. She joined the team at CLINK. at The Liberty Hotel in 2014, and has been vital to CLINK’s standing as one of the top restaurants in New England. Prior to that, she has worked at local fine-dining establishments including Market by Jean-Georges.

Although her educational background initially led her down a different path, having studied Criminal Justice at the University of New Haven, Kiu’s true calling in the world of gastronomy quickly became evident as she completed her culinary training at the world-esteemed Le Cordon Bleu in Cambridge.

Growing up, she had always found inspiration in the elegant twists of traditional French cuisine and admired the talent of chefs like Gordon Ramsay. However, it was in the realm of pastry that she discovered her true passion.

With a strong commitment to excellence, Kiu insists on working only with the highest quality local ingredients and pays meticulous attention to detail in every dish she creates. She finds joy in introducing unexpected flavors and innovative twists to classic dishes while creating memorable dining experiences.
