Wine & Spirit Education Trust at the BCAE

This spring the Boston Center for Adult Education will be offering the area’s only Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) certification program. One of the few globally recognized programs in the wine industry, the WSET program begins with the fundamentals of wine tasting, explores the world’s major wine regions and eventually covers the entire world of wine making. The Intermediate Certificate Course, with sessions starting in March and May, is an ideal starting place for anyone who’s interested in wine, works in the wine and spirits industry or wants to pursue a wine related career. It’s geared to anyone with a limited understanding on wine or those who’d like to broaden their knowledge. The Advanced Course will be offered in the fall and there are plans underway to offer the Diploma program in the future, so stay tuned for more information. The course, taught by long-time BCAE instructor Adam Chase, meets from 6:00-8:00pm on nine consecutive Thursday nights at the BCAE’s Gamble Mansion at 5 Commonwealth Avenue.
