Punxsutawney Phil is getting ready for his big day, and in his honor, chef-owner Scott Herritt is hosting a shindig – shadow or no shadow – in Marliave‘s upstairs dining room. Resident bartenders, joined by local mixologists, will be shaking, stirring, muddling and mixing al la carte drinks and specialty beverages for this quintessential cocktail party. Herritt and company will be preparing bite-sized tastings of old-school hors d’oeuvres. They’ll be playing classic cocktail party tunes and encouraging attendees to don their best classic cocktail party attire. Raise a glass to the forecasting rodent.
