The First Ever Boston Lobster Party

Forget about the Boston Tea party – the Boston Lobster Party is October’s place to be. Scheduled for Saturday, October 16th at the Trolley Barn in the South End, the event celebrates one of New England’s most beloved regional delicacies with a lobster-themed plate lunch courtesy of the folks at Garden at the Cellar, Gaslight, Petit Robert Bistro, South End Buttery, Legal Seafoods, Turner Fisheries, Union and Wicked Kickn’ Cheesecake (and those are just the restaurants that have signed on so far). There are also a good fifteen breweries who’ll be pouring their wares – Boston Beer Company, Brooklyn Brewery, Cisco and Pretty Things, among others. There’s no crustacean without representation so order your tickets (at $35 apiece) as soon as you’re able. Proceeds benefit Community Servings, Share our Strength and Lovin’ Spoonfuls so you’ll be doing a good deed while you eat. The doors open and the beer starts flowing at 2:00pm. Food starts at 2:30pm.
