Boston Wine Expo Returns for a 19th Season

On Saturday, January 23rd and Sunday, January 24th oenophiles can make their way to the Seaport World Trade Center for the wine-soaked, fun-packed 19th annual Boston Wine Expo. Duck in and escape the cold with a glass or two of wine (there will be 1800 options from 450 different wineries) at the Grand Tasting or sign on for one of twenty six seminars – the topics, much like the wine, are varied and many. Of course, good wine isn’t quite complete without good food to go along with it. To take care of that, two fully-equipped demo kitchens will set the stage for several cooking demonstrations throughout the two day affair. Keep an eye out for Andy Husbands of Tremont 647, Rachel Klein of Aura, Chris Douglass of Ashmont Grill and Tavolo, Chris Damskey of Market, Rodney Murillo of Avila, Jamie Bissonnette of Toro and Coppa, Mark Goldberg of Woodward at the Ames, Jeremy Sewall of Lineage and Eastern Standard, and Raymond Ost of Sandrine’s. Pick up a pair of tickets, which cost $95 for Saturday and $85 for Sunday and see what else the weekend has to offer at the Boston Wine Expo website, or by calling 877.946.3976.
