Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation

Boston’s top chefs will join together in the fight against hunger on Thursday, May 1st at Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation. As part of the largest nationwide benefit to fight hunger, this annual fundraiser will feature food and wine tastings, an extensive silent auction and entertainment by Boston’s Babaloo. Now in its sixteenth year in Boston, it features more than 80 of the region’s restaurants including Ambrosia on Huntington, Ariadne, Beacon Hill Bistro, Caffe Umbra, Clio, EVOO, Gourmet Caterers, Hamersley’s, Icarus, Le Soir, Maison Robert, Pigalle, Sage and Sandrine’s as well as wineries and breweries, all of which donate their food and beverages and for a great night of delicious food and wine. The evening gets under way at 6:30pm at the Hynes Convention Center. The general admission tickets cost $75 in advance and $85 at the door. The greatest part of the entire evening, (besides the food) is that 100% of the ticket price goes to benefit hunger-fighting organizations in the region, across the country, and around the world.
