Feeding Hospital Workers & Industry Peeps


Chef Jody Adams and her teams at Porto, Trade and Saloniki are working with Chef José AndrésWorld Central Kitchen to provide free meals to Boston’s hospital workers, as well as their unemployed peers in the restaurant community – and they need your help. Donate now (they’re trying to raise $50,000) to their online fund and they’ll do the rest – everything from getting the ingredients, prepping the food and delivering as many as 500 meals per day. Starting on Wednesday, April 1st, they’ll be distributing meals for restaurant folks from Porto Monday through Friday from 12:00-2:00pm, taking extra precautions to make sure everyone is safe from start to finish so folks on the front lines of this crisis will be well-fed and fully fueled.
