Expect to see more of chef de cuisine Ellie Campbell at Commonwealth. As chef-owner Nookie Postal turns his attentions to his newest project (a forthcoming Jewish BBQ joint called Steinbones) Campbell will be taking on more responsibility at the Kendall Square spot. Before she joined Commonwealth on the opening team in November 2013, Campbell spent four years under the tutelage of chef Gordon Hamersley at Hamersley’s Bistro. She plans to direct her culinary training into Commonwealth projects like housemade sausages and pastas, more traditionally plated dishes and invigorated sides.
