Much Ado About Matthew Gaudet

Congratulations to chef Matthew Gaudet of Kendall Square’s West Bridge who was just named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs. The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts-trained cooker, who’s been grabbing accolades left and right for his French-technique-meets-New-England-comfort-food menu, made it through the months-long selection process to claim the title (with eleven other chefs from across the country). Look for him on the cover of the July issue and at the 31st annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. Gaudet joins the ranks of a select group of chefs to have received the honor including local culinary bigwigs like Michael Schlow, Todd English, Marc Orfaly, Jody Adams, Michael Leviton, Gordon Hamersley, Barbara Lynch and Tim Cushman.
