Chef Jamie Bissonnette Moves to Toro

In case you haven’t heard, chef Jamie Bissonnette continues his climb up through the ranks of Ken Oringer’s restaurant empire, making the move from KO Prime to Toro earlier this month. Bissonnette, who’s known as a true talent with charcuterie, will be bringing his skills to the bustling South End tapas bar – though he likely won’t be taking any of your favorite small plates off the menu – just adding a few new ones like Asado de Huesos – roasted bone marrow with pickled shallots, ox tail, and olive berries; and Molleja con Setas – crisp sweetbreads, foraged mushrooms and poached farm egg. Toro doesn’t accept reservations but you can always give them a call at 617.536.4300 to see what the wait for a table is like or for directions.
