Now that outdoor dining season has finally arrived, the team at Central Bottle, Belly Wine Bar and The Blue Room are getting the patio furniture out of deep storage and breaking out the porróns for their third annual Txakoli Fest. On Thursday, May 22nd they’ll be pouring six different varieties of slightly sparkling, very dry white wine from the Basque Country, as well as Basque cider and pairing it with lots of wine-friendly foods like grilled sardines and octopus from Andrew Bonner. The fun kicks off at 6:00, rain or shine, and wraps up around 10:00pm. Tickets are $45 (which includes all food and drink) and are available online in advance or $60 at the door.
