Steaks & Cocktails for Father’s Day

Give your favorite dad a night off from grilling and let chef Zaid Kahn from OAK Long Bar + Kitchen do the cooking for this year’s Father’s Day on Sunday, June 19th. For one night only the swanky spot inside the Fairmont Copley Plaza will be serving up a special 24-ounce Black Angus T-bone steak with a side of creamed spinach, beef fat potato gratin and a rich blue cheese butter for slathering on top, all for $67. Steaks and whiskey go hand in hand, so be sure to toast the old man with a couple of Smoked Old Fashioneds made with WhistlePig 10 Year Small Batch Rye, demerara, and orange bitters ($24 each). Grab a reservation here between 3:00 and 10:00pm and head to the Back Bay on Dad’s day — your pops will feel a little pampered, and you won’t have to cook a thing!
