On Sunday, December 22nd, Somerville neighbors and foodie friends Rebel Rebel and Field & Vine are teaming up to teach you all about fermentation. The class will cover the holy trinity of edible science projects: natural wine, sourdough bread, and homemade pickles. From 2:00 to 4:00pm, you’ll be treated to an interactive pickle presentation by Field & Vine Chef Andrew Brady, a boozy primer from Rebel Rebel sommelier Margot Mazur, and a sourdough seminar from F&V’s bread baroness Kat Bayle. During the class you’ll receive a free glass of natural wine, and you’ll get a jar of pickles and a sourdough starter to take home to your own kitchen. Tickets are $50 each, sign up here.
