Get into the holiday spirit early and often at Shore Leave’s Sippin’ Santa’s Surf Shack. The month-long pop-up starts on Tuesday, November 23rd (and rolls on through New Year’s Day) so you can bust out your most hideous ugly Christmas sweater and head for the South End to revel in all the seasonal finery – twinkling colored lights, drapey green garlands, ribbons and bows, and maybe even a bough of holly or some mistletoe.
There’ll be festive tunes and a slew of signature cocktails from creative genius Jeff “Beachbum” Berry, who was named one of the “25 most Influential Cocktail Personalities of the Past Century” by Imbibe magazine. Berry has put his expertise (he’s written six books on vintage tropical beverages and given lectures on the topic throughout Europe and the Americas) into the list below, which you can pair with nibbles from chef-owner Colin Lynch’s new sushi menu.
Shore Leave is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:00pm-12:00am and Thursday through Saturday from 5:00pm-1:00am. Book a table through Resy (except on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day – cause they’re closed) to get a head start on your holiday fun.
