Phone Food Photography Workshop

Wandering Boston Eater

We’ve all been there: you’re at a super cool restaurant, the food comes out looking drool-worthy and delicious, you want to snap a pic to capture the amazingness of the meal, but the photo comes out flat — it’s poorly lit, maybe a bit blurry, and frankly, not so appetizing on the screen. What a bust! Say no more to bad food photos, and join Brenda Nguyen of Wandering Boston Eater for a phone food photography workshop at PAGU on Sunday, March 25th. She’ll teach you the basics of how to take a picture that’s finally fit for Instagram. There are two sessions (11:30am-1:00pm and 1:30pm-3:00pm), so pick whichever one works best for you. All you need to bring is your phone, so don’t forget to charge it! Tickets are $35 (all proceeds will go to Lovin’ Spoonfuls, a local food rescue organization) and includes your choice of one the tortillas below. Get your ticket here.

Braised pork Tortilla (spicy umami oil, scallions)
Mushroom Tortilla (roasted mushrooms, tamari aioli)
Pink Beets Tortilla (sheepy’s milk yogurt, black sesame)
