The name may have changed but the Marathon Monday festivities at Painted Burro Brookline (fka Burro Bar Brookline) are just as awesome as they ever were. The Washington Square go-to for Mexican fare is located right on Beacon Street at the 23rd mile of the 26.2 mile route, which makes it the perfect perch from which to watch and cheer-on all the action. On Monday, April 15th, with support from their pals at Partida Tequila, they’ll be opening at 10:30am with a full on fiesta of Bloody Marias, mimosas and margaritas, as well as nachos, tortas and tacos galore. There’ll be live music from 12:00-2:00pm, too. Reserve your spot asap so you get a prime seat for all the Patriots’ Day fun.
