Sandal season goes by way too fast in New England, so it’s time to make every patio hang count. On Wednesday, August 5th, Mondo, the soon-to-open natural wine bar from the Neighborhood Wines crew, is taking over the patio at Shy Bird South Boston for a night of natural wines and an early taste of one of the city’s most anticipated new spots.
Spenser Payne and Travis Robitaille will be pouring a crushable by-the-glass wine list alongside mondo-inspired spins on some of Shy Bird’s favorite menu items like mondo slushies, Dunkaroos, and there are even rumblings of a Slip-n-Slide, but you can’t be sure unless you show up. The party runs from 5:00 to 8:30pm. There’s no tickets necessary but you should definitely grab a table online if you want a place to sit.
