The folks from Second Glass and the Loire Valley Wine Bureau have declared this month Muscadet May. Maybe it’s the warm-but-not-hot weather or the imminently pairable nature of this affordable, unpretentious wine, but May is the perfect time to explore some of the Muscadets available around town. To that end, the Second Glass peeps are hosting a Muscadet-themed Bar Crawl on Sunday, May 1st, hitting up spots like Gaslight, Union, Aquitaine, Petit Robert and The Beehive. Meet up with fellow enthusiasts at Gaslight at 2:00 or pick up the tour at other spots along the route (which you can see in its entirety here). Not a bad way to spend a Sunday in May.
