Miel’s Ode to an Olive

Chef Josean Rosado is not just sweet on honey – the Miel Brasserie Provençale chef is also nuts about olives, so much so that he’s hosting an Olive Tasting Dinner on Wednesday, October 14th. In honor of the olive harvest season, Rosado and his team have designed a whole evening celebrating the tasty and versatile little fruit. The fun starts at 6:30pm with an olive oil tasting and a lesson in olive oil pairing courtesy of the folks from O&Co., a New York-based, olive-oil-obsessed food merchant. Rosado’s five-course dinner, which incorporates olives in some fun and surprising ways, follows at 7:00pm. For real fans the evening’s $70 price tag, which also covers paired wines from the Cognac region, will be a small price to pay. Reservations are required and available at 617.217.5151
