Miel’s Abuzz with a Month Full of Honey

The folks at Miel Brasserie Provençale are crazy about honey – they named their restaurant for it, after all – which is why, in honor of September being National Honey Month, they’ll be featuring an array of sweet events and specials. Every day from September 1st through the 30th chef Josean Rosado will create a special honey themed entrée to be served at the dinner service from 4:00 to 11:00pm. If you’d prefer to sip your honey, they’ll also be offering the Queen Bee cocktail, an elixir of Grey Goose Pear Vodka, St. Germain Liqueur, honey and lemon with a honey-crusted rim, for $14. If all that still hasn’t satisfied your golden sweet tooth, try the honey tasting dinner on Wednesday, September 16th which will feature the honored ingredient in four courses with wine pairings and the aforementioned royal cocktail. The dinner, which begins at 7:00pm on the waterfront lawn of the Intercontinental, costs $70 per person. To sweeten the deal even further, these philanthropic culinarians will donate $1 from every Queen Bee cocktail and $2 from every tasting dinner ticket to the Pollinator Partnership, a non-profit organization working to protect the health of managed and native pollinating animals vital to North American ecosystems and agriculture.
