As they do every year, local menfolk are donning chef’s hats and grabbing spatulas for this year’s Men of Boston Cook for Women’s Health. On Thursday, September 22nd politicians, celebs and local bigwigs like Governor Deval Patrick, WBUR’s Tom Ashbrook and the MFA’s Mark Kerwin will be stepping out of their comfort zones to raise funds for the Codman Square Health Center and their women’s health programs (including mammograms, prenatal women’s groups and healthy weight initiatives). They’ll be joining chefs from spots like Abby Park, Above & Beyond Catering, Ashmont Grill, Beacon Hill Bistro, Bella Luna, Eastern Standard, The Fireplace, Taranta, Tavolo, Top of the Hub and Tryst to prepare and serve guests under the tent at 637 Washington Street.
