If you’re in the mood to laissez les bons temps rouler (let the good times roll) this Mardi Gras, head to The Porch in Medford on Saturday, February 10th for an all day party. The southern-fried juke joint is turning up the Bourbon Street vibes starting at 2:00pm, and you’d better pace yourself because there’ll be a lot to take in. Head over early for some family-friendly live music, games, a proper second line, and of course some authentic Low Country eats from Revelry, the delish N’awlins food truck peeps. The first leg of the party is free, just grab a ticket here so that The Porch folks know you’re coming.
If you work up a thirst moving and grooving, there’ll be plenty of hurricanes and frozen daiquiris to keep you chilled, and stick around after dinner because The Glen David Andrews Band will take over the main stage at 9:00pm. You will not get any closer to NOLA without leaving the state than on that dance floor (check them out on YouTube for a preview), just be sure to grab a ticket for the evening show here ($25 up until the day of the show, $30 for day-of tickets).
