If it seems like everyone is leaving town for the 4th – fear not – the folks at the Tavern Road are getting the party started locally. On Monday, July 3rd they’re throwing a holiday shindig full of New England eats like grilled clams, lobster rolls, hot dogs and more (see the full menu below). Along with the festive fare, the bash features live tunes by Orange Blossom Special and plenty of Narragansett beer by way of the cash bar. Yard games and other activities will heat up the star spangled fun (which runs from 11:00am-4:00pm) for a Cape-style celebration right here in Boston (who likes traffic anyway?).
