It’s Time for Cake & Wine

The clever folks at Fool’s Errand, Tiffani Faison’s adult snack bar-turned-pop-up wine shop, is pairing two fabulous treats for one glorious afternoon at their Cake & Wine tasting on Saturday, February 27th. Combining the confectionary talents of pastry chef Dee Steffen Chinn and know-how of wine director Charlie Gaeta, the one-day-only pop-up features mix and matchable, by-the-slice options like Dunk Dunk the Oreo (oreo swirled cake with oreo cream filling and vanilla frosting) and Cake Me Out to the Ball Game (peanut cake with caramel cream, caramel frosting, peanuts and caramel corn) alongside an assortment of boozy sippables like sherry, rosé, moscato and madeira. You can go with a single slice or a glass of wine ($7 each), or a combo ($15) or a flight ($45); or go for the whole shebang with the Lemme Have It All ($60) which includes five slices of cake with wine pairings. Take a peek at the menu below and plan on swinging through Fenway (1377 Boylston St, to be precise) between 3:00 and 6:00pm to have your cake (and your wine) and eat it (and drink it), too.
