Up your whiskey IQ and intake (both! at the same time!) this St. Patrick’s Day with some socially distant guidance from the knowledgeable folks at The Smoke Shop. On Tuesday, March 16th chef-owner Andy Husbands & Co. are hosting Charred Barrels & Smoked Meats, a virtual Irish whiskey tasting and barbeque feast. Reserve your spot and your ‘que on The Smoke Shop’s website and plan on swinging by the location of your choice (Kendall, Harvard Square, Fort Point or Assembly Row) to pick up your eats — Pit Boss 1 or Pit Boss 2 (see below) depending on what kind of ‘que you’re craving — between 3:00 and 6:00pm. Both plates will come accompanied by a cocktail kit with everything you need to make your own cold Irish Coffee cocktail and three of West Cork Distillers’ finest whiskeys.
