Chef Matt Jennings of Townsman is a nationally-renowned culinary talent, but he’s a local boy at heart, and his food has always had one foot planted firmly on his home turf. On Monday, October 16th, head to Townsman on Kingston St. for the release party of his first cookbook, Homegrown: Cooking from My New England Roots, featuring passed apps straight from the pages and signed copies of the book. From 5:30 to 8:30pm, Jennings will be on hand to scribble in your pages and answer your questions while you enjoy cocktails from the Townsman bar team and Homegrown hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $50 and include food, bev, and a signed copy of the book but there are only 50 tickets, so hurry! (Don’t worry, Townsman will still offer copies of the book for sale beginning on Tuesday, October 17th). But seriously, hurry. Reserve your spot here.
