On Friday, July 31st, break out your bike – or your sneakers – for a Go Green Walk/Ride Day sweet summer street party in the heart of Harvard Square. From 12:00-2:00pm, the Harvard Square Business Association and Green Streets Initiative will be gathering on Brattle Plaza (right in front of Hidden Sweets) for a treat or two from a whole host of participating restaurants and vendors. Henrietta’s Table will be sending over dessert while the folks at Finale will be serving limeade and mini fruit tarts. Grab a green tea bar and a coupon for one of their fancy reusable grocery bags from Cardullo’s or some chips and salsa from Qdoba. There’ll be music and face painting, too. And it’s free! And open to the public – the bike riding, walking or T-taking public, that is.
