The Fifth Annual Empty Bowls Project

On The Rise Facebook

There’s nothing better than good eats for a good cause. On Saturday, March 24th, Puritan & Company is hosting the fifth annual Empty Bowls Project in support of On the Rise, a day program for homeless and formerly homeless women. Your $38 ticket directly supports the charity, plus gets you in the door to select your very own handmade bowl from local potters at Feet of Clay Studio, MIT SAA, and Indigo Fire Studio. You can fill it with scrumptious soups donated by local restaurants like Trina’s Starlight Lounge, Nashoba Brook Bakery, The Automatic, Loyal Nine, Highland Fried, and more. Last year’s event was so popular they’ve opened two seatings this year, from 11:30am-1:00pm and 1:30-3:00pm. Good food, cool pottery, and great karma: what’s not to like? Tickets this way.
