Feast at the Farm with The Blue Room

Turning the farm to table philosophy upside down, The Blue Room‘s chef Jorge Lopes brings the table to the farm, setting up for dinner smack dab in the middle of the field at Bay End Farm in Buzzards Bay. Mark your calendar for not one, but three opportunities to feast on farm-fresh fare from this Cambridge-based chef – Lopes will be heading for the Cape on Monday, July 27th, Monday, August 31st and Sunday, September 20th to prepare a four-course dinner (paired with organic wines) using the freshest and localest ingredients imaginable. Dinner, priced at $75 per person ($65 for the farm’s CSA members), begins at 3:00pm though you should plan on arriving around 2:00pm to get a tour of the farm. Proceeds from the dinner will help the farm get its farm stand kitchen up and running.
