Falling for French Wine Dinner

Shy Bird South Boston’s new culinary director, chef Trevor Kunk, will be cooking up a menu of seasonal fare to pair with some fabulous French wines at their Falling for French Wine Dinner on Wednesday, October 11th.

The menu will feature dishes like Warm Fennel and Apple Soup with Maine crab, preserved lemon and tarragon, Seared Dayboat Scallops with champagne braised endive and coriander seed, and Olive Oil Cake with whipped creme fraiche (view the full menu below). Social Wines and Vineyard Road, a local wine store and distributor, will be supplying the bevvies so you can raise a glass to the new season while enjoying all of Kunk’s plates.

Tickets, available online here, cost $75 each (before tax and gratuity) and include all four courses and wines. Grab a pair and plan on being in South Boston at 6:30pm for a reception and sparkling toast followed by dinner at 7:00pm.
