Explore the Natural Wines of Loire

APICHART VONGPAKAYMAS/SHUTTERSTOCK

The natural-wine-loving folks at Forage (that’s chef Eric Cooper and owner/sommelier Stan Hilbert) turn their attention to Loire this week for their regularly scheduled Tuesday night wine dinner. Get yourself over to Cambridge on July 25th to explore some of their favorite bottles from the region, which has recently become the heart of France’s natural wine movement known for its minimal-intervention wines. These growers steer clear of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and artificial yeasts which means they’re perfectly suited for the Forage crew – just the kind of winemakers they like to support and showcase. Have a peek at the menu below (available in omnivore and vegetarian versions) to see what’s in store; the meal costs $105 per person or $160 for two people to pick-up and enjoy at home (before tax and tip). You can book your table indoors or out or place your take-out order here, as you see fit. You can also give them a ring at 617. 576.5444 with any Qs.
