Bastille Day at Bistro du Midi

Bistro du Midi

Get into the spirit of Bastille Day at Bistro du Midi on Friday, July 14th. From its perch overlooking the Public Garden, the French-leaning Back Bay spot will be offering a curated selection of specials to commemorate the storming of the Bastille. Available at lunch and dinner (11:30am-3:00pm and 5:00-10:00pm), these très français dishes from chef Robert Sisca and his team include Pissaladière, a flatbread with caramelized onions, nicoise olives and white anchovies, Duck & Pork Terrine with figs, pistachios, whole grain mustard and grilled country bread. They’ve got drinks, too if you’d like to raise a glass to the tricolore. Try the Jacques Rose made with Laird’s Applejack, lemon and housemade grenadine, or the Paris in the Afternoon made with cassis, pastis and prosecco. Their usual menus will be available as well with all the classics like moules frites and seared tuna niçoise. Plan ahead and book a reservation here, or walk-in and grab a seat at their bar or outdoor patio.
