Coppersmith heats up for Cinco de Mayo. Starting at 5:00pm on Friday, May 5th, the kitchen is plating Mexican specials to go with the bar’s specialty margaritas. Chef Jason Heard has a la carte dishes like grilled shrimp tacos with avocado cream sauce, curtido, mango and corn tortillas ($11 for two) and a smoked duck quesadilla with poblano peppers, jack cheese and salsa rojo ($12 each). Or, guests can opt for Cemitas – a Mexican sandwich made with crispy pork, avocado, black beans, peppers and jack cheese ($13 apiece). If any of the options calls for a margarita, traditional, strawberry and ghost pepper versions will be available for $12 each at the inside bar or on the rooftop Air Deck.
