Chef Rene Michelena rallies the culinary troops in support of UNICEF and the organization’s efforts to assist children in the areas most affected by January’s earthquake and tsunami. Chefs from Blue Ginger, Bricco, Bomboa, Chez Henri, Clio, Finale, Tremont 647, No. 9 Park, Oleana, Olives, Pigalle, Prezza, Restaurant L, Rouge, Sage, Saint, Spire, Troquet and UpStairs on the Square will convene on Thursday, March 3rd from 6:30-11:00pm at the State Room in the Financial District for uniCHEF, an evening of South Asian-inspired food, music and dance. Tickets for the evening cost $250 per person. All proceeds from the event will be donated to UNICEF’s emergency relief efforts.
