Learn the ins and outs of gingerbread house construction from pastry chef Maria Cavaleri Gilardo at her annual gingerbread baking class on Sunday, December 2nd. Gilardo and her team of pastry elves will be taking over the back room at Tosca from 12:00-4:00pm to show would-be builders the best way to mix, roll, cut and bake the gingerbread for the walls and roof. She’ll also share some tips for making the royal icing that holds it all together. There’ll be plenty of sweets for decorating, and pizza and hot cider so you’re not tempted to eat your roof tiles or window boxes.
