Beyond Bubbie’s Kitchen is Back

Grandma’s classic Jewish recipes get a twenty first century update when some of Boston’s top chefs gather on Sunday, February 9th for the fifth annual Beyond Bubbie’s Kitchen. Be ready for creative takes on traditional Jewish dishes, beer and wine pairings, cookbook authors, a whiskey tasting room and a marketplace. Chefs in attendance include Jim Solomon of The Fireplace, Josh Ziskin of La Morra, Jeremy Lee of Shojo, Josh Lewin of Beacon Hill Bistro, Tony Maws of Craigie on Main and Kirkland Tap & Trotter, Michael Leviton of Lumière, Area 4 and A4 Pizza, among others. There will also be a cookbook discussion with the Globe’s Meredith Goldstein. The event kicks off at 5:00pm at the Back Bay Events Center. Tickets are $45 and are available online. Grab a couple and eat! Eat! You’re nothing but skin and bones!
