The Boston Landmarks Commission turns 40 in style this month, which also just so happens to Archeology Month. On Tuesday, October 20th from 6:00-7:30pm, head to the The Tap Trailhouse for Thanks for Mutton, the Commission’s birthday party featuring City Archaeologist Joe Bagley. Chef Matthew Barre and his kitchen team at the Trailhouse will serve up colonially-inspired fare while Bagley teaches guests about the history of dining and drinking in Boston and discusses artifacts excavated at the Three Cranes Tavern (1635-1775). Admission is free, but RSVPs are required—register here for a night of historical proportions.
