You don’t have to make the pilgrimage to Vermont to have your fill of boutique, hard-to-come-by beers from The Alchemist, consider a side quest to The Smoke Shop in Eastie to get a taste of their famed beers on Saturday, November 18th at 1:00pm. Award-winning chef and pitmaster Andy Husbands’ newest outpost is launching a series of Beer Lunches starting with an epic all-Alchemist tasting menu, and if you want to get a sip of the famed brewery’s elusive Luscious Imperial Stout you won’t want to miss it.
Go ahead and grab a spot here for $49, which includes three courses of Husbands’ signature BBQ, and three 8-oz. pours of beer including Heady Topper, Focal Banger, and the Luscious Imperial Stout. As an added bonus, spirits educator Davis Curry of Craft Beer MA will be hanging out to talk you through each sip and give you all the deets about The Alchemist starting from its days as a little brewpub in Waterbury, Vermont all the way up until today.
