Beard House Hosts 6th Annual Tapas Challenge

The sixth annual Tapas Challenge, scheduled for Sunday, October 5th at the James Beard House in NYC, pits three prominent Boston chefs against one another in pursuit of the title of Tapas Champion. Defending her title, chef Rachel Klein of Aura at the Seaport Hotel faces off against newcomers Will Gilson of Garden at the Cellar and Rene Michelena of MKT and Central 37. All three chefs will be pairing dishes with this year’s wines: sake, Riesling, and syrah and guests will get to play judge, ultimately choosing the winner. Take a little trip to New York to root on your favorite chef. The Challenge, which costs $100 for the general public and $85 for members of the Beard House, starts at 6:00pm.
