*RAIN DATE* Bastille Day Block Party

Bonde Fine Wines Facebook

You don’t have to be French to celebrate the storming of the Bastille during the French Revolution in 1789, aka Bastille Day, just head to Cambridge on Friday, July 21st (rescheduled from its original date on the 14th due to inclement weather) for the Harvard Square Bastille Day Celebration from 5:00 to 10:00pm.

The celebration organized by the Harvard Square Business Association in conjunction with Bondi Fine Wine Shop will be a blend of Parisian street fair vibes mixed with a dose of Cantabrigian je ne sais quoi, including French foods from Source, La Saison, and Le Macaron, live music from Bobby Keyes with Marty Ballou and Tom Arey, and a slew of French wines from Bonde’s extensive cellar. DJ JoE FinnZ will also be spinning 80s and 90s French techno-pop music to give you a Eurovision fix while you sip and stroll your way through Church Street, which will be closed to traffic for the evening.

Entry to the event is free and open to the public, but be sure to bring ID if you plan to taste wines in Bonde’s outdoor wine garden or taking any bottles from the shop home. For more info check out the event website, or give the wine shop a call at 617.491.3434.
