Swing by Georgie’s on your way home from work on Wednesday, March 20th to toast to spring’s arrival with wines from Pasini San Giovanni. The folks at the Downtown Crossing bottle shop and bar will be hosting owner/winemaker Paolo Pasini for an early evening tasting from 5:00-7:00pm.

Stop in and brighten your hump day with a trio of Italian wines from the organic (certified in 2016!), carbon-neutral (solar powered!), family-run (third generation!) vineyard in Lombardy. The flight, which costs $25, includes the 2022 Pasini San Giovanni – Valtènesi Rosato “Il Chiaretto”; the 2021 Pasini San Giovanni – Valtènesi Groppello “Il Valtènesi”; and the 2020 Pasini San Giovanni – Lugana “Il Lugana”. There are a la carte snacks (chips and dip, artisan meats and cheeses and cicchetti) available if you’d prefer not to imbibe on an empty stomach.
