Sometimes the best work is the least work—at least when it comes to wine. That’s the philosophy behind the wine at Sonoma’s Vokel Cellars, and you can taste the results at Bar Boulud on Thursday, August 22nd over a four-course tasting dinner with owner and winemaker Dana von Sternberg. Come pick the pro’s brain over seasonal delights like Foie Gras Tartes with Apricot and Chorizo & Clams while he pours and pontificates on some of his favorite Pinots from the Russian River Valley. It’s $125 for the whole enchilada (enchiladas will not be served). Scope the scene and snag your spot this way.
