7th Annual Taste of Cambridge

Due to the not-so-sunny forecast, the seventh annual Taste of Cambridge has been rescheduled for Thursday, June 25th.  If you’ve been dying to try any number of fabulous restaurants from the other side of the Charles but can’t seem to clear enough space on your calendar, you’re in luck – the seventh annual Taste of Cambridge is scheduled for Thursday, June 25th. Taking over both the upper and lower courtyards of the Charles Hotel from 5:30 to 8:00pm, this year’s event features delicacies from Chez Henri, Craigie on Main, Finale, Garden at the Cellar, Grafton Street Pub and Grill, Harvest, Henrietta’s Table, Hungry Mother, OM, Rialto, Sandrine’s Bistro, Summer Shack, Temple Bar and UpStairs on the Square, among others. They’ve also pulled together a pastry corner, a region of grills, a beer and wine garden and a special VIP area where celebrity bartenders will be pouring specialty cocktails. This year, in addition to going almost entirely waste-free with recyclable and biodegradable utensils and packaging, they’re also offering special kids tasting tickets ($15 for children ages 6-12), which will allow budding foodies access to a special area where they can explore new flavors and foods. Proceeds from tickets, which cost $50 in advance ($60 at the door and $75 for VIP), support Youth on Fire and Club Passim’s Culture for Kids/Music Speaks.
