Temazcal brings upscale Mexican to the suburbs at their location on Market Street in Lynnfield. Building on the success of their flagship restaurant in Boston’s Seaport, Temazcal Lynnfield offers elevated Mexican classics and plenty of tequila in an atmosphere that blends fancy with fun.

Fans of classic Mexican fare will rejoice at the options on display at Temazcal. The menu is versatile, and whether you’re in the mood for small bites at the bar or a multi-course Mexican feast, you won’t leave disappointed. With sections for Tacos, Fajitas, and House Specialties, and symbols indicating whether items are celiac- or vegetarian-friendly, Temazcal is clearly out to meet diners where they’re comfortable, using local ingredients while staying true to their deep Mexican culinary roots.

The room is warm and vibrant, blending rich dark woods with studded leather barstools, eclectic fabrics, and funky, moody lighting to create an atmosphere that feels both lavish and inviting. The grand bar is the heart of the restaurant. Adorned with gleaming brass arches suspended from the high warehouse ceiling above, it can accommodate roughly 40 guests on three sides, with bar tables and a lounge area that opens onto the patio through a long wall of folding glass doors. Temazcal boasts an impressive tequila list, featuring more than 250 varieties of agave spirits ranging from familiar standbys to obscure offerings. Enjoy them on their own or in one of the house’s many Margarita varieties. There are also a number of Sangria selections, in addition to a modest but serviceable selection of beer and wine.

The restaurant boasts a heated, four-season patio with a crackling fire pit, meaning outdoor dining is an option year-round. Televisions adorn the bar, the patio, and many of the walls, so it won’t be tough to keep tabs on the score while you dine. Private dining is available for large parties, overseen by the restaurant’s group-dining manager, and a kids’ menu is available with simple food and fun games for the little ones.
